Five BLACK SCOTERS and two WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS were in a large scoter flock of Playa del Rey Beach on November 3.
The RED-NECKED GREBE continued around the Fishing Pier at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro through December 1.
A WHITE-WINGED DOVE continued at a residence in Redondo Beach through December 5.
Another WHITE-WINGED DOVE was at Sunnyside Cemetery in Long Beach on December 5.
Twenty-two VAUX’S SWIFTS were at Silver Lake Reservoir on December 1.
The AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHER at Royal Palms Beach in San Pedro continued through December 1.
An AMERICAN BITTERN was at the Dominguez Gap Wetlands in Long Beach on December 1.
A BROAD-WINGED HAWK was at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Rolling Hills Estates on November 29.
An ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER continued at Madrona Marsh in Torrance through December 5.
TROPICAL KINGBIRDS continued around the lake at Entradero Park in Torrance through December 5 and at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City through November 30 (west side between the boat ramp and playground area).
An EASTERN PHOEBE was in the north central part of Apollo Park near Lancaster on November 29.
A CASSIN’S VIREO was at Oakridge Estate Park in Northridge on November 30.
An EVENING GROSBEAK was heard flying over Occidental College in Eagle Rock on November 29.
A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was at the Red Car Greenbelt in Long Beach on November 30. It was near the northeast end by Ximeno Ave.
A WHITE-THROATED SPARROW was in Claremont from November 26-30.
A NASHVILLE WARBLER was at Willow Springs Park in Long Beach on December 1. Found here on November 30 and present through December 2 was a HEPATIC TANAGER. This bird has been seen in a Ficus at the top of the hill by the parking lot.
A SUMMER TANAGER continued at Wardlow Park in Long Beach through December 3. It was last reported north of the building across from the tennis courts.
