This is the Los Angeles Rare Bird Alert for June 7, 2025.

A RED-BREASTED MERGANSER was at Quail Lake on May 31.

INCA DOVES continue in Lake Los Angeles with four present on June 3.  Google Earth coordinates 34.6205,-117.8285.

A BLACK SWIFT was seen over Claremont on June 2.

The long-staying PACIFIC LOON at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas continued through June 5.

Up to four CALIFORNIA CONDORS were near the Old Ridge Route and Templin Highway through June 4.

A SWALLOW-TAILED KITE was seen briefly at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City on June 3.

Two AMERICAN DIPPERS were along the Burkhart Trail near Buckhorn Campground on June 2.
