Mary and Nick Freeman are once again hosting a fun filled weekend in the southern Sierra Nevada Mountains, July 4-7, 2019 (Th-Su). A rental house has been reserved in the mountain village of Ponderosa for this weekend, to base our forays out of as we search for Northern Saw-whet, Flammulated, Spotted, Western Screech, and Northern Pygmy Owls. Last year we encountered a family of four Saw-whets and heard three others, and Spotted has never been a problem! $140 for the entire stay includes a weenie roast.
