A BROWN BOOBY was over Redondo Canyon northwest of the Palos Verdes Peninsula on April 23.
A NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles on April 22.
A YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was at Sims Bio Pond in Long Beach from April 21-22.
The ZONE-TAILED HAWK in Monrovia was reported through April 23 in the area west of Grand Park. It is often seen near Myrtle and Greystone.
The TROPICAL KINGBIRD continued by the pond at Entradero Park in Torrance through April 25. A continuing PALM WARBLER was by the drainage ditch that enters the pond on April 23
The BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER at DeForest Park in Long Beach continued around the administration buildings through April 22.
A GRACE’S WARBLER was found at Chilao Flat in the San Gabriel Mountains on April 23. The bird was singing on the west side of the picnic area, just east of the first restroom closest to the visitor center.
