A HOODED MERGANSER continued at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park through July 14.
Up to five BLACK SWIFTS were seen along Cobal Canyon Motorway above Claremont through July 17. Late afternoon is the time to look for them.
A BAIRD’S SANDPIPER was at the Piute Ponds on Edwards AFB (letter of permission required for entry) on July 12.
A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was in Vernon along the Los Angeles River at 25th Street on July 18.
A REDDISH EGRET was at Malibu Lagoon on July 18.
Up to three CALIFORNIA CONDORS continued to be seen along Ridge Route Road near Castaic through July 19. Google Maps 34.5725, -118.6650
The continuing SWALLOW-TAILED KITE at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City was seen through July 19. It often prefers the north end of the lake and golf course, but may be seen anywhere in the general area.
Several PURPLE MARTINS continued at Chilao Campground near the meadow area through July 14.
AMERICAN DIPPERS continued along the Burkhart Trail below Buckhorn Campground through July 13. Google Maps 34.3506, -117.9077
