All About Nature
Stoneview Nature Center
5950 Stoneview Dr., Culver City, CA 90232
Every Thursday morning
9:00 a.m–10:45 a.m.
Come explore the wildlife of the Baldwin Hills. Our walks will focus on the plants and animals of the Coastal Sage Scrub habitat as well as that of the adjacent residential community. During our walks on the trails and streets that connect three nearby parks and the residential neighborhood we will document what we find with the goal of increasing our awareness, appreciation and overall knowledge of the wildlife with which we share our urban space. All knowledge levels welcome. Binoculars provided.
Smart phones, cameras, field guides and field note books encouraged.
Directions: The park is in the small residential community of Blair Hills. Access roads are off of La Cienega south of Rodeo Rd. (look for Blair Hills sign just south of Rodeo) or off of Jefferson/Rodeo, just west of La Cienega.
Contact info: Stoneview Nature Center (310) 202-3002. The center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
