Rare Bird Alert - April 12, 2019

This is the Los Angeles Rare Bird Alert for April 12.

 

An AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHER continued at Malibu Lagoon through April 8.

The ZONE-TAILED HAWK continued in Monrovia near Myrtle and Greystone through April 8.

TROPICAL KINGBIRDS continued by the pond at Entradero Park in Torrance through April 9 and north of the ranger station at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in Harbor City through April 7.

A WHITE-THROATED SPARROW continued at a residence in Torrance through April 10.

The HARRIS’S SPARROW continued near the lower parking area at Hahamongna Watershed Park in Pasadena through April 12.  It has been seen on and around the sports field.

A continuing PALM WARBLER was about halfway down the Lakeview Trail at Trump National Golf Club on the Palos Verdes Peninsula through April 5.

 A male SUMMER TANAGER continued at Veteran’s Park in Sylmar through April 10.  It moves around the park but was last reported south of restroom 3.
